
Rev. Fr. Paul Attah-Nsiah
Rev. Fr. Paul Attah-Nsiah is a Roman Catholic Priest of the Diocese of Konongo-Mampong in Ghana. He was ordained in the then Diocese of Kumasi on July 16, 1994 by the Rt. Rev. Peter Kwasi Sarpong. Presently he resides in Dubuque, Iowa, USA, since 2018. Rev. Fr. Paul is in good standing in the Catholic Church. In addition to his pastoral appointments, he has served the church in many capacities as Vicar General, Judicial Vicar, Co-Cathedral Administrator, Seminary Formator, Pastor, Dean, Chaplain, Rector of Shrine of Our Lady, Lecturer, Project Coordinator, Advocate and Judge of Metropolitan and Ecclesiastical Tribunals.
Rev. Fr. Paul has a very good education background, even though he had great financial difficulty during his schooling. He holds a doctorate degree in Canon Law from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome (2004), Masters and Licentiate degrees in Canon Law from Ottawa University and St. Paul University, Ottawa, Canada, respectively (2001), and a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Sociology and Religion from the University of Ghana (Legon,1992). He had his Theological and Philosophical studies in St. Peter’s (1994) and St. Paul’s (1990) Seminaries, respectively, in Ghana. He completed Pre-College school at St. Hubert Minor Seminary, Kumasi, Ghana in 1986, High School in Ejisuman Secondary School, Ejisu (1984), Middle School in Local Authority (1) Middle School, Ejisu-Besease, 1979 and Grade school at Roman Catholic Primary School, Ejisu-Besease, 1969-1975. He has undertaken many seminars including Arbitration Training, Professional Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Training, Introduction to Human Rights, Conflict Resolution and Prevention Program.
Fr. Paul has a passion for education. He has been involved in education by teaching in Middle school, Minor and Major seminaries and Catholic University. In Ghana he has been a member of school governing Authorities such Board Chairman, Oversight Committee and Board Member in many schools.
Fr. Paul has engaged in establishing schools in Ghana. Notable among them are St. Mary Girls’ Senior High School at Konongo and an ultramodern Senior High School with student population of 800 at Mamponteng, called Our Lady of Grace Senior High School with funding from Our Lady of Grace Parish in Edina, Minnesota. He secured funding from Funding Agencies to build classrooms for Mpobi Roman Catholic Kindergarten, Praso Kindergarten, to provide clean drinking water for St. Gabriel Primary school at Konongo. Under his leadership the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) Administration of Ghana built seven-classroom at the premises of St. Mary’s Girls Senior High School and renovated the St. Gabriel primary school at Konongo. As his 25th Anniversary gift, Fr. Paul in collaboration with his non-profit organization, BIG HEART OF FAITH OUTREACH, has built a multi-purpose 12-classroom storey building and water project, worth $400,000.00, for Besease Roman Catholic, where his academic journey began half a century ago.
